Personal instruction with Michael Newberry, showing you how he approaches figure drawing |

Programmed for beginner through advanced artists |

Learn unique and essential figure drawing techniques that enhance confidence, precision, and freedom |

Demos presented in stages, and explained in a clear manner |

Develop human form through light and shadow |
|
• |
Close to the Santa Monica Promenade, with several shops and eateries |

Michael will recommend the right materials for the right job |

Newsprint for quick sketches;
Some good paper for longer poses, such as Rives BFK
(about $4 a sheet, great stuff)
Soft charcoal pencils 6B's, and conte for the quick
sketches.
Kneaded eraser.
An easel (if you want to stand);
And a drawing board or a cardboard portfolio (which
also holds the paper.)
